Disturbed on Many Levels
OK read LD's blog and the whole Clark Gable thing has me creeped out. Yes he was a great actor but having a pic of him staring down at your in your hotel room is just wrong. I get the Willies just thinking about it.
Next...I peruse my e mail this morning. Low and behold there are 52 men who want to meet me on E Harmony...thinking the whole thing was a massive blunder and am feeling a bit pressured. In my entire 38 years on this planet I don't think there have been that many people who wanted to meet me. Am considering chucking the whole experience and retreating back into my safe and cozy shell. This is a bit overwhelming. I'm wondering if perhaps this is a joke where I completley miss the punchline? Does this make me a complete and total coward? Will spend the rest of the day second guessing myself *sigh*

answers in no particular order:
yes, you will spend the whole day second guessing yourself. that's a typical day for the bea.
i think clark looking over our beloved LD is quite funny. someone has to. might as well be rhett.
you're a great woman. period. dot. exclamation point. you put yourself out there, and its scary, but people are bound to see your beauty and charm and wit. get over it. suck it up and decide what you want to do. i hereby call to order a vote. listen up people. i will now found the MSP(eople)AP devoted to bea. primary purposes: all manners of advising including but not limited to guiding bea on the ins and outs of dating. as this was a major issue in LD's posse, some of us have now had some practice. allright. lots of practice. who's in?
my first gem - stop getting freaked out. in the online world, there's no real pressure. read some profiles. see if you take a liking to anything. go from there. take as much time as you want.

*bangs head against keyboard* ACK!!!!! Am trying to control the freak impulses. I actually feel better knowing that I don't have to make an immediate decision. Will do my best to suck it up and stop being a candy ass. Thank you for founding the MSPAP. I am in desperate need of a communal Voice of Reason.
LMAO The spirited Mister Gable would make a great testosterone charged guardian angel for Mighty LD while he's cavorting in LA.
s-I think you and LD are the only people who read my blog-I may be wrong on that but thanks for the help! Be bold and mighty forces will come to your aid and all that stuff! lol
bea! lol I think I'm insulted :oP Just kidding. I check your blog everyday! lol...and I agree with S, I think you should just chill out, sit back and read some profiles, and just start with casual emails. See how you feel about it. No one says you have to jump in with both feet right away :o) Keep us posted!
Hugs
Sara
Yep-this advice sounds good. Pick 5 or 6 you like and send a few emails!
Sara I didn't mean to insult you lol Hugs doll! Ok will follow communal advice and chill my butt out. There are times when I do get a bit flaky around the edges, thanks to my new found posse for the sound advice and patience. Where would I be without you guys? LOL
That sound you just heard was me slapping you upside the head.
52 men want to meet you, and this is a bad thing! You could have a date a week for a whole year. That's way better than anyone else is doing.
Nothing ventured....
LMAO Thanks for the tough love LD...where would I be without the occasional kick in the seat from you? lol
