I think I've lost it...
While zipping 'round the Net this afternoon I spied with my eagle eye something that made me wonder if reality was slipping. There are tons of LOTR sites...many with merchandise but what baked my noodle was a site that had LOTR tongue rings with little tiny pics of Gollum on them...does anyone else find this a bit bizarre? Or am I a relic and out of touch? Can someone explain why you would want Gollum in your mouth???? Please, be honest.

LOL Well if you're out of touch, then so am I. That just astounds me lol. Mind you a lot of what people do to themselves, and a lot of what people put or display on their bodies these days astounds me. Whatever happened to the good old days when more than one ear piercing was rebellious??

lol I think I'm a dinosaur Sara lol I only have one set of holes in my ears, and have no desire to puncture my nose, navel or any other region on my body. It doesn't bother me if others do-hey to each his/her own-no biggie-I was just floored by Gollum lol
allright, so i've got to speak up for the other side. why? for the same reason that lotr knickknacks sell. its just a doodad that you wear. think of it as a gollum t-shirt.
as for being a relic - its not that. it works for some people and not for others. has nothing to do with age.
